I presume I'll have to uninstall and reinstall. The interface (MAudio Fast Track Ultra) shows up and works for both users. I managed to get Reaper installed and running fine in the admin's /home directory, but it's not available for the other user(s). I was scratching my head during the whole install, and I recall there was a choice between installing in '/opt' or '~/opt' or 'other'. However, when running the install script, that distinction is not clear. The install instructions mention Reaper can be installed for a single user or system-wide for all users. So I downloaded 7.05 and figured out how to run the install script, along with WDL (whatever that is). Unfortunately, UbStudio does not offer Reaper in it's 'Discover' app installer. For audio production I'll probably make a 3rd user dedicated to just audio production. ![]() I set myself up with 2 users, admin for administering the pc, and a general user for y'know, general use. Dual boot for now, and plan is to use Linux as daily driver before MS drops Win10 support next year. Got Ubuntu Studio 22.04 LTS up & running and stumbling around on my Win10 laptop. ![]()
